Parmida Chocolate Brownies

Brownies: Dense, chocolatey squares that strike a balance between cake and fudge. Rich in cocoa flavor, these moist treats are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
1 cup (225g) unsalted butter
2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (175g) Parmida 72% chopped chocolate (optional for extra richness)

Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

Melt the butter in a saucepan or in the microwave. Let it cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Don’t overmix.

If using chocolate chips or chopped chocolate, fold them into the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter). Be careful not to overbake if you prefer fudgy brownies.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
